Angela Rodgers Mireles and Kevin Michael Moore were married May 3, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Darryl Faire Sr. performed the ceremony. Music was by John Hearnes of Nashville, Tenn., cousin of the bride, and Billie and Andrew Houston of Erlanger, Ky. Vocalist was Geri Harmon of Cincinnati, Ohio, cousin of the bride. Readers were Barbara Homan of Tucson, Ariz., and Anita Winnika of Overland Park, Kan., aunts of the groom.
Parents of the bride are Ray and Linda Underdown of Cincinnati. She is formerly of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Earl and Caroline Moore of Higginsville, Mo.
The bride was escorted by her grandfather, John Rodgers of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Elizabeth Vordenberge of Cincinnati. Bridesmaids were Katherine Alstadt of Romeoville, Ill., Ruth Boehme of Mankato, Minn., Molly Norton of Minneapolis, Minn., and Jamie Hearnes of Nashville.
Eric Barroso of Columbia, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Fitzpatrick of Tucson, Leroy Gaston and John Martinez of Cincinnati, and Joseph Steeb of Marriville, Ind. Ushers were David Hearnes of Phoenix, Ariz., cousin of the bride, and Ray Underdown.
Candlelighters were Anna Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas., sister of the bride, and by Earl and Caroline Moore.
Flower girls were Cara Vordenberge of Cincinnati, and Anna Cruz of San Antonio, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Mark Wogan of Scottsdale, Ariz., cousin of the groom.
Geri Harmon attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple spent the summer touring with the Marion Glory Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps as instructors.
They are residing in Carbondale, Ill.
