ADVANCE, Mo. — Melissa Kay Minton and Austin Michael Hake were married June 26, 2008, in a sunset ceremony on the beach at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, Fla. Tamera Turner performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Myron and Robin Minton of Advance. The groom is the son of Dawn and Mark Miller of Dexter, Mo.
Matron of honor was Allisha Hitt of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hake of Dexter, sister of the groom, and Amber Crites of Jackson, cousin of the bride.
Steven Cairillo of Dexter and Greg Shtardson of Jacksonville, Fla., were best men. Usher was Kyle Hitt of St. Louis.
Chelsea Crites, cousin of the bride, placed leis on guests.
Flower girl was Shelbi Miller-Hake.
A dinner was held at Firefly Restaurant in Panama City Beach. A reception and open house was held July 13 at Premier Martial Arts in Dexter. Server was Sandy Crites, aunt of the bride.

Mrs. Hake is a 2002 graduate of Advance High School. She is employed at Regions Bank and at Rainbow Gymnastics in Dexter.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School, and 2007 graduate of Three Rivers Community College. He is employed at Hidden Trails Country Club and at Rainbow Gymnastics in Dexter.
The couple resides in Dexter.
