Nichole Edonna Mier and Jeffrey Alan Laubach were united in marriage Nov. 21, 2003, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Charlie Prost performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Malissa Mier of Scott City. The groom is the son of Terrie Laubach of Cape Girardeau and Dennis Laubach of Benton, Mo.
Maid of honor was Julie Mier of Scott City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Crystal Bartusch of Cape Girardeau; Deidre King of Jackson; Amy Laubach of Tampa, Fla., sister of the groom; and Kristi Schumer of Cape Girardeau.
The groom was accompanied by Kyra Laubach, daughter of the bride and groom.
Donnie Wiley of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Lonnie Bartusch of Cape Girardeau; Brandon Crews of Tampa; Kevin Mier, brother of the bride, and Tony Smolak, both of Scott City. Ushers were Jamey Heisserer of Benton, Mo., and David Sweeney of Fruitland, cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Amanda Morrow and Laci Thorne of Jackson.
Flower girl was Katelyn Robertson, daughter of Ken and Jackie Robertson of Olmsted, Ill. Ringbearer was Chance McKinley, son of Bryan and Tara McKinley of Scott City.
Melissa Jennings and Ashley Skinner of Jackson attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Sidney Robertson of Olmsted; and Melissa, Rachel and Chelsie Colyer of Jackson.
Mrs. Laubach is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and is in second year of teacher training through Dance Masters of America in Buffalo, N.Y. She is an instructor at Dance Extensions in Jackson.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Scott City High School. He is owner of JLB Detailing and Mobile Pressure Washing in Cape Girardeau.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
