Lindsey Michelle Meyr and Drew Michael Church were united in marriage March 18, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Trio Girardeaux, pianist was Diann Daume, and vocalist was Brandon Hahs, all of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Ryland "Dutch" and Sharon Meyr of Jackson. The groom is the son of Michael and Phoebe Church of Charleston, Ill.
Maid of honor was Gretchen King of New York City. Bridesmaids were Leslie Buck of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Crescent Dush of Cape Girardeau, Cyndy Wrigley of Imperial, Mo., Morgan Lake of Jackson, sisters of the bride; and Kaci Thompson of Jackson. Junior bridesmaid was Madison Dush, daughter of Larry and Crescent Dush and niece of the bride.
Dane Church of Charleston, Ill., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Mike Buck of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Jeff Schuette of Charleston, cousin of the groom; Kris Stoneking of Peoria, Ill., Gary Abner of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Zack Anderson of Honolulu, Hawaii. Junior groomsman was Jack Lake, son of Thad and Morgan Lake and nephew of the bride. Ushers were Luke Hubbard of Cape Girardeau; Jarrett Norveil of Clinton, Mo.; Gary Wrigley of Imperial and Thad Lake of Jackson, brothers-in-law of the bride.
Candlelighters were Emily Scannell of Cape Girardeau and Julie Wunderlich of Jackson.
Ringbearer was Austin Buck, son of Mike and Leslie Buck and nephew of the groom.
Katie Fink of St. Louis and McKenzie Turley of Jackson attended the guest book.
A dinner and dance reception was held at Drury Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 17 at N'Orleans Restaurant.
Mrs. Church received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications/public relations from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is director of marketing at Westfield West Park.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from the University of Evansville in 2001, and a master's degree in education administration from Southeast in 2004. He is a physical education teacher at Jackson Middle School, and is junior varsity basketball coach.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
