Ashley Nicole Meyr and Quentin Robert Kelley were married June 27, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Douglas Briete performed the ceremony. Organist was Dottie Meyr of Cape Girardeau, violinist was Matt Mueller of Perryville, Mo., and vocalists were Marty Roth and Ben Meyr of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Rodney and Teresa Meyr of Jackson, and Terrence and Kim Kelley of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Amber Tenholder of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Katie Nurnberg of St. Louis; Allison Null and Rachael Weidenbenner of Sikeston, Mo.; Renee Essner of Kelso, Mo.; and Lindsay Kelley of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
Cody Stovall of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Zach Lewis, Jeff Beard and Jon Bremer, all of Cape Girardeau; Drew Boyd of Surprise, Ariz.; and Ben Meyr of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Ushers were Brad Gaines of Dutchtown and Brad Clark of Jackson.
Candlelighters were Hayley Buchheit of Perryville and Emily Schmitz of St. Louis.
Flower girl was Ava Brown, daughter of Mike and Liz Brown of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Elliot Cowell, son of Danielle Waites and Luke Cowell of Jackson.
Christie Nash of Kennett, Mo., was guest book attendant. Krissy Gilpin of Commerce, Mo., and Courtney Cagle of Cape Girardeau handed out programs.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 26 at Bella Italia.
Mrs. Kelley received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She is a fifth grade teacher at Warren E. Hearnes Elementary School in Charleston, Mo.
The groom expects to receive a degree in civil engineering, with emphasis in surveying, in December.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Sikeston.
