Morgan Meyer and John Loesel were married June 2, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Monsignor Edward Eftink performed the ceremony. Organist was Ann Frank of Bethalto, Ill., aunt of the groom. Soloist was Jane Oehl of Jackson.

Parents of the couple are Michael and Betty Meyer of Scott City, and Fred and Sandy Loesel of Olivette, Mo.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Pehle of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Gross of Jackson, sister of the bride; Debbie Loesel of Boston, Mass., sister of the groom; Heather Backfisch of Cape Girardeau and Candace Martin of St. Louis.

Jacob Risk of St. Louis was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Loesel of Washington, D.C., brother of the groom; Rob Foeste, Dan Mustain and Jerrad Martin, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Andrew Meyer of Decatur, Ill., brother of the bride, and George Gasser of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Landen Pehle of Jackson, nephew of the bride, and Charles Lotz of Baton Rouge, La., nephew of the groom.

Flower girl was Grace Pehle, daughter of Troy and Jennifer Pehle of Jackson and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was David Lotz, son of Matthew and Jennifer Lotz of Baton Rouge and nephew of the groom.

Bailey McCormick and Michelle Meyer, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 1 at the Show Me Center.

Mrs. Loesel received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in political science from Southeast, and is a law student at the University of Virginia School of Law.

After a wedding trip to South Padre Island, Texas, the couple resides in Charlottesville, Va.
