Nicole McMillan and Clay Pingel were united in marriage May 23, 2009, at Caroline's Vineyard in Washington, Mo. The Rev. Grant Gillard performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Kathy McMillan of Jackson. The groom is the son of Steve and Cindy Grebing and Curtis Pingel, all of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Sara McGill of Overland Park, Kan., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kari Kitchen of Jackson, Hannah Holzum of Columbia, Mo., Jessica Edwards of Carrboro, N.C., and Amy Sorensen of Kansas City, Mo.
Josh Grebing of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Ben McMillan of Lincoln, Neb., brother of the bride; Patrick Martin of Cape Girardeau, Joshua Jones of Springfield, Mo., and Brandon Kenworthy of Sullivan, Ill. Ushers were Brian Seabaugh of Kansas City and Chris Murdoch of Mexico, Mo.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Maia and Brock Lummus of Chillicothe, Mo.
Alisha Craft of Jackson attended the guest book. Program attendants were Lindsay Beard of Columbia and Sarah Simmons of Cape Girardeau. Gift attendants were Becky and Rachel Leadbetter of Jackson.
The reception was held at Caroline's Vineyard.
The rehearsal dinner was held May 22 at Louis P. Balducci Vineyards in Augusta, Mo.
Mrs. Pingel is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a master's in physical therapy from the University of Missouri. She is a physical therapist at Children's Therapeutic Learning Center in Kansas City.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a doctorate of pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He is pharmacy manager with Walgreens in Kansas City.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Kansas City.
