McColpin - Fenwick

Jennifer Ann McColpin and Derek Nathan Fenwick were married Aug. 30, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier College Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Richard Perry of Missoula, Mont., performed the ceremony. Readers were Jennifer Bolyard of St. Louis; Jackie Ballinger of Nashville, Tenn., cousin of the bride; and Amber Knippen of Cape Girardeau.

Giftbearers were Nancy Ballinger of Nortonville, Kan., aunt of the bride; Peggy DeWilde of Perryville, Mo., aunt of the groom; Shelly Sidoti of Kansas City, Mo., and Jackie Tarantola of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., aunts of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Rose McColpin of Lees Summit, Mo. The groom is the son of Stephen and Nancy Fenwick of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Amanda Seats of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Karen Clevering of Seattle, Wash., Hannah Stevens of Yarmouth, Maine, Meaghan Moriarity of Missoula, Cristina Airaghi of San Francisco, Calif., Tracy Flavin of Cedar Park, Texas, Jennifer Fahlstrom of Lees Summit; and Regina Baute of Atlanta, Ga., cousin of the bride.

Ryan Fenwick of Washington, D.C., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Adam Fenwick of Atlanta, Ga., brother of the groom; Tom O'Donnell and Josh Bruxer of Portland, Ore., Jason Gonulsen and Niels Klok of St. Louis, Brian Travers of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Mark McColpin of Lees Summit, brother of the bride. Ushers were Matt Bequette of St. Louis and Shawn Callahan of Portland.

Candlelighters were Diane Mansfield of St. Louis and Sarah Heinen of Kansas City, Mo.

Guest book attendants were Kristen O'Donnell and Angela Valenti of Portland.

Programs were handed out by Lesley and Lauren Ballinger of Nortonville, Rose Tarantola of Fort Lauderdale, and Ashton Sidoti of Kansas City, Mo., all cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at Windows on Washington in St. Louis.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 29 at the Old Spaghetti Factory in St. Louis.

Mrs. Fenwick is a 1997 graduate of Archbishop O'Hara High School in Kansas City, Mo. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from St. Louis University in 2001. She is a registered nurse in the Mother-Baby Unit at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from St. Louis University in 2001, and a master of physical therapy degree from the university in 2003. He is pursuing a master of business administration degree in health care management from Regis University. He is rehabilitation director at Holladay Park Plaza in Portland.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Portland.
