MR. & MRS. DERIK G. STEVENS
Alicia Ann Manker and Derik Gene Stevens were married May 13, 2006, at Cape County Park. Dr. Jay White performed the ceremony. Soloist was Julie LoMedico of St. Charles, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon Manker of Cape Girardeau, and the late Joseph Manker. The groom is the son of Steve and Cindy Stevens of Marble Hill, Mo., and Jeff and LaDonna Glenn of Jackson.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Weber of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Coy of Cape Girardeau, Kelli Scheffer of Jackson, and Nikki Wilson of Oak Ridge.
Dustin Woods of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Kirk Stevens and Justin Glenn of Jackson, brothers of the groom, and Travis Farrar of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Terry James and Travis Roth of Jackson.
Flower girl was Ashlyn Brown, daughter of Randy and Sherry Brown of McClure, Ill., cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Tyler Manker, son of James and Jennifer Weber of Cape Girardeau and nephew of the bride.
Sherry Brown, cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant. Program attendants were Danielle Keller and Stacy Roth.
A dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Linda Roth; Wanda Eaves; Sue Hileman; Carolyn Thomas, aunt of the bride; and Sherry Brown.
Jeff and LaDonna Glenn hosted the rehearsal dinner May 12 at their home.
Mrs. Stevens is a graduate of Central High School. She is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate of applied science degree in computer network systems from ITT Technical Institute at Arnold, Mo. He is employed at Saint Francis.
After a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
