Malkowski-Hagedorn

Amy Michelle Malkowski and Ryan Matthew Hagedorn were married June 29, 2002, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles, Mo. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the ceremony. Readers were Kim Hagedorn of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the groom, and William Winetroub of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, uncle of the bride. Vocalists were Casie Janet and Mark Kohlfeld of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the bride are Joseph and Deborah Malkowski of Florissant, Mo. The groom is the son of Richard and Doris Hagedorn of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Maria Bishop of St. Charles. Bridesmaids were Susan Winetroub of Cedar Rapids, cousin of the bride; Nicole Papuga of O'Fallon, Mo., Jamie Ladd of Chesterfield, Mo., and Claire Wollard of Lake St. Louis, Mo. Junior bridesmaid was Megan Hagedorn, daughter of Rick and Kim Hagedorn and niece of the groom.

Rick Hagedorn of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Kent Ward of Cape Girardeau, Jason House of Seattle, Wash., Jason Wollard of Lake St. Louis, and Patrick Icaza of Jackson. Junior groomsman was Mark Hagedorn, son of Rick and Kim Hagedorn and nephew and godson of the groom. Ushers were Michael Winetroub of Cedar Rapids, cousin of the bride, and Patrick Icaza.

Candlelighter was Mary Catherine Catrino of Sikeston, Mo., cousin of the groom.

Ringbearer was Blake Hagedorn, son of Rick and Kim Hagedorn and nephew of the groom.

Cher Lowrey attended the guest book. Program attendants were John Robert Goodin and Sarah Catrino, cousins of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Lake St. Louis Banquet Center in Lake St. Louis.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 28 at Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Charles.

Mrs. Hagedorn received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She is a kindergarten teacher in the Hazelwood School District.

The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. He is a pilot with American Airlines.

The couple resides at Lake St. Louis.
