Rachael Elizabeth Lowes and Joseph Caleb Dufek were married Jan. 19, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Mo. Monsignor Jack Costello performed the ceremony. Pianist was Darren Modde and vocalist was Missy Nobel of Kirkwood.

Parents of the couple are James and Denise Lowes of Washington, Mo., and James and Suzanne Dufek of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Stephanie Boland of Washington, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole, Christine and Rebecca Lowes of Washington, sisters of the bride; and Madeline Dufek of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.

Jacob Dufek of Dublin, Calif., brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Nick Boland of Washington, brother-in-law of the bride; Steve Toomey of St. Louis, Derek Yarbro of Cape Girardeau, and Sam Montgomery of Kansas City, Mo. Ushers were Matthew Lowes, brother of the bride, and Cole Boland, nephew of the bride, both of Washington.

Flower girl was Callie Boland, niece of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Holiday Inn at Six Flags in Eureka, Mo.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Mike Duffy's Pub and Grill in Kirkwood.

Mrs. Dufek is a 2003 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. She received a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is an account manager at Datotel in St. Louis.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received an associate degree in culinary arts from L'Ecole Culinaire in 2007. He is kitchen manager/chef at Frazer's in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
