Wendy Lovelady and Britt Durham exchanged vows April 9, 2005, at the Common Pleas Courthouse gazebo. Dr. Derek Staples performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Randy and Sheila Lovelady of Cape Girardeau, and Larry and Tamara Durham of Tupelo, Miss.
Matron of honor was Angela Schlitt of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Aimee Cairns of Kansas City, Julie Koch and Jodi Stahly of Cape Girardeau, and Tamsin Durham of Birmingham, Ala., sister of the groom.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Mark Wildmon of Memphis, Tenn., cousin of the groom; Darren Schlitt of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the bride; Johnny Rasberry of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Steven Thornton of Dallas, Texas. Ushers were Chris Rousseau of Tupelo, Leighton Gibens of Belden, Miss., and Joe Parham of Ecru, Miss.
Ringbearers were Colin and Nathan Schlitt, sons of Darren and Angela Schlitt and nephews of the bride.
Guest book and program attendants were Kyla Erlbacher of Cape Girardeau and Lori Johnson of O'Fallon, Mo.
The reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Servers were Ramona Davis, Diana Erhard and Theresa Mummert, all of St. Louis, and Beverly Willis of Festus, Mo., all aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 8 at Royal N-Orleans Restaurant.
Mrs. Durham is a graduate of the University of Missouri. She is health reporter with KFVS TV.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He is a senior sales consultant with Novartis Pharmaceuticals.
After a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
