SIKESTON, Mo. - Amienia Yvonne Lott of Cape Girardeau and Darryl Tyrone Bolden of Dallas, Texas., were married March 24, 2001, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston. Louis "Sonny" Wiggins Jr., performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Kaye Grant Herron of Sikeston, Christopher Wiggins, and Derrick Lutrell.
The bride is the daughter of Earl Gene Lott of Toledo, Ohio, and Barbara Jean Wiggins Lott Thompson of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Robert Bolden of Hamlin, Texas, and Linda Brown of Dallas.
Maid of honor was Vicki Howard-Camon of Cape Girardeau. Matron of honor was Torsha Smoot-Sparks of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Michell Jones Grigsby of Cape Girardeau; Patsy Wiggins of Sikeston, cousin of the bride; Tracy Sias of St. Louis, cousin of the bride; Camella Pullen of Cape Girardeau; René Campbell of St. Louis, Mo.; Naketa Pitman of Sikeston; Toni Turner of Sikeston, and Renae Wiggins of Sikeston, cousin of the bride. Master of ceremony was Juanita Pearson, aunt of the bride.
Best man was Travis Turner of Austin, Texas, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Lynn E. Lott of Chicago, Ill., brother of the bride; Rodney Douglas of Dallas, cousin of the groom; Fred Sparks of Cape Girardeau; Allen Mills of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride; Tracy Pullen of Cape Girardeau; Wes Charlton of Bolling Green, Mo.; Kenneth Jones of Dallas, and Kevin Bolden of Dallas, uncle of the groom.
Flower girls were Justice Bolden, daughter of the couple; and Aviance Mills and Wilundria Washington, cousins of the bride. The little bride was Dakota Lott-Bolden, daughter of the couple. The little groom was Austin Lott-Bolden, son of the couple.
Candlelighters were Juanita Pearson, aunt of the bride, and Sharron Artis, cousin of the bride. Lynn E. Lott of Chicago, brother of the bride, read a poem.
Ushers were Juqualin Wiggons and Christopher Artis, cousins of the bride. Bell ringers were Leslie Cagle and Starkesha Tate.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the Shriners' Club. Food preparation was by Dorthy Thornton, aunt of the bride. Music coordinator was Jim Wiggins, uncle of the bride. Guestbook attendant was LaVonda Mills of Sikeston, cousin of the bride.
The rehearsal dinner was held March 23 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Sikeston High School and a 1999 graduate of Administrative Health. She is employed at Immediate Health Care.
The groom is a 1987 graduate of Hamlin High School and a 1994 Sul Ross University. He is employed at Arrow Construction.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
