Lier-Meyer

Stacy Marie Lier and Russ William Meyer were married Dec. 31, 2004, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Newroth of Barnhart, Mo. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Meyer of Oak Ridge.

Matron of honor was Thelina Carter of Poplar Bluff, Mo., cousin of the bride.

Nicholas Friese of Jackson was best man.

A reception was held Sept. 10, 2005, at the Elks Lodge in Jackson, following the groom's return from Iraq. Servers were Juanita Swift of Jackson and Anna Halter of Cape Girardeau.

Bree Shearer of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom, attended the guest book.

Mrs. Meyer is employed by Workforce in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is stationed with the U.S. Marine Corps in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

The couple is residing in Millersville.
