Denise Elainia Lehmann and Douglas Lynn Mayfield exchanged wedding vows June 10, 2006, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. Sam Roethemeyer performed the ceremony. Organist was Christy Shinn.
The bride is the daughter of James Lehmann of Jackson and Dan and Darlene Petzoldt of Altenburg, Mo. Ralph and Vera Mayfield of Jackson are parents of the groom.
Matron of honor was Tiffany Smart and bridesmaid was Tina Seyer, both of Jackson.
Kenneth Mayfield of Jackson was his brother's best man. Groomsman was Mike Mangels of Millersville. Ushers were Justin Brune of Sedgewickville, Mo., and Grant Lehmann of Marble Hill, Mo., cousins of the bride.
Candlelighters were Jennifer and Kimberly Kelley of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the bride.
Flower girl was Jocelyn George, daughter of Robert and Denise George of Fenton, Mo. Ringbearer was Lane VanGennip, son of Alex and Alisa VanGennip of Marble Hill and cousin of the bride.
Leslie and Rachel Mayfield, daughters of the groom, were guest book and program attendants.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Angie Brune, Carol Lehmann, Kathy Huffman and Alisha Mayfield.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 9 at Delmonico's in Jackson.
Mrs. Mayfield is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997. She is a claims representative with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The groom is a 1984 graduate of Jackson High School. He is an electrician with Procter and Gamble.
After a wedding trip to St. Louis, the couple resides in Jackson.
