Christi Ann Leggitt and Jeremy Ray Jones were married Aug. 5, 2006, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Scott Moon performed the ceremony. Music was by Susan Hatley of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Clyde and Linda Leggitt of DeSoto, Mo. The groom is the son of Ava and Danny Odum of Creal Springs, Ill., and Wally and Cheryl Jones of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Flieg of Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Matron of honor was Angie Pulliam of Fenton, Mo., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole LaFerney of Jackson, Jessie Survant of Troy, Mo., Alicia Seabaugh of Jackson, and Dana Koepp of Benton, Mo., sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Susan Hogberg of Oakville, Mo., cousin of the bride.
C.O. Scheffer of Sikeston, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Larry Driskell of Cape Girardeau; Jason Landis of Scott City; Sean Wibbenmeyer of Cape Girardeau; Tyler Ward of Scott City, stepbrother of the groom; and Stephen Leggitt of DeSoto, brother of the bride. Ushers were Chris Thompson of Chesterfield, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Jordan Tatum of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighter was Alexandra Turek of St. Louis.
Gretchen Ward of Scott City, stepsister of the groom, attended the guest book.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 4 at Dockside the Upper Deck.
Mrs. Jones is a 2001 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Festus, Mo. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a sixth grade teacher at Kelly Middle School in Benton.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Kelly High School, and is studying accounting at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill.
A tour of Europe is planned this summer.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
