Lange-McCarthy

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Emily Jean Lange and Colman Douglas McCarthy were married Aug. 11, 2007, at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Sal Costa performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Lanell Lange of Chaffee, Mo. The groom is the son of Susan McCarthy of Gordon, Neb., and the late Michael McCarthy.

Maids of honor were Michelle Hency of Cape Girardeau and Eve Schlenk of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Sarah Lange of St. Louis, sister of the bride; Bri Wehner of Kirksville, Mo.; Jenny Lange of Oran, Mo., cousin of the bride; Amanda Pepmiller of San Antonio, Texas., sister of the bride; and Anne Sillea of St. Louis.

Best men were Tanner Kezar of Gordon and Joe Manning of Moline, Ill. Groomsmen were Ian McCarthy of Chadron, Neb., Conor and Paddy McCarthy of Gordon, brothers of the groom; Eric Barnhart and Adam Kinney of St. Louis. Usher was Andrew Lange of Chaffee, brother of the bride.

Flower girls were Hannah and Mallaigh McCarthy, daughters of Ian and Jackie McCarthy and nieces of the groom.

The reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.

The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 10 at Drury Lodge.

Mrs. McCarthy is a 2004 graduate of Truman State University. She is employed at draper and Kramer Inc. in St. Louis.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Truman State, and is a law student at Washington University in St. Louis.

The couple resides in St. Louis.
