Samantha Wade Lane and Jackson Taylor Bahn were married Sept. 14, 2013, at Hutchinson Ranch in Salida, Colo. Officiants were Jacqueline McManus of Durango, Colo., and Josh Oberleas of Salida. Vocalists were Andre Wilkins and Robin French of Salida.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Carol Lane of Washington, D.C. The groom is the son of Dr. Taylor and Nancy Bahn of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Dr. Alexandra Lane Kahan of Philadelphia, Pa., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tara Leu of Los Angeles; Sarah Hammond of Salida; Nora Murphy of New York, N.Y.; Carsen Bahn of Jackson, Miss., and Caitlin Weitzel of Orlando, Fla., both sisters of the groom.
Patrick Jernigan of Columbia, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Wilkinson Jones and Will Browne of Crested Butte, Colo.; Kirtley Weitzel of Orlando, brother-in-law of the groom; and Dr. David Kahan of Philadelphia, brother-in-law of the bride. Ushers were Andy Billmeyer, Malcolm Boyce and Connor Thompson, all of Crested Butte.
The reception was held at Hutchinson Ranch.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 13 at the SteamPlant in Salida.
Mrs. Bahn received a BSLA degree in Spanish at Georgetown University, and a MS degree in ecological teaching and learning from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. She is a fifth grade teacher at Salida Middle School.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Western State Colorado University. He is owner of Alpha Dog Care.
After a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Salida.
