Kathleen Rose Landholt and Robert Woodard Fornkahl were united in marriage on June 12, 2015, at St. Raphael The Archangel in St. Louis.
The celebrant was the Rev. Thomas Miller. The organist and music director was Mary Zubert of St. Louis. The flutist was Kate Harden of St. Louis and the choir were family and friends of the bride. Cantors were Teresa Frank of St. Louis, cousin of the bride, and Rosanne Donato of St. Louis, godmother of the bride. Readers for the liturgy were William Cole of St. Charles, Missouri, godfather of the bride, and Caroline Reifsteck of St. Louis, friend of the bride. Gift bearers for the eucharist were Katie Homan, Lauran Kopff, Katie Luner and Rachel Smith, all of St. Louis.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Joan Landholt of St. Louis. The groom is the son of Karen Fornkahl of Cape Girardeau and the late Gary Fornkahl.
Mary Carol Landholt of Santa Clara, California, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marygrace Cole of St. Charles, cousin of the bride; Cortney Kellogg of Tampa, Florida, friend of the bride; and Angela Smith of St. Louis, friend of the bride.
Best man was Gary Justin Fornkahl of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were James Hanks Jr. of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Josh Crocker of Columbia, Missouri, friend of the groom; and Jaymes Winger of Santa Clara, fiance of the maid of honor.
Mallory Hanks of Cape Girardeau, daughter of James and Gretchen Hanks and niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Ring bearer was John Reifsteck, son of Chris and Janet Reifsteck of St. Louis, and friend of the bride.
Joe Donato of St. Louis, cousin of the bride, was usher. Stephen Cole of St. Charles, cousin of the bride, handed out bubbles.
A cocktail hour, dinner and dance were held the evening of June 13 at The Crowne Plaza Grand Ballroom in Clayton, Missouri. It was hosted by the bride's parents in celebration of the marriages of their daughters, Kathleen to Robert on June 12 and Mary Carol to Jaymes Winger on June 13.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Bevo Mill Banquet Hall in St. Louis on June 11. It was hosted by Robert's mother and Jaymes Winger's parents, Cliff and Sarah Winger of Spokane, Washington. The bride's parents hosted a Sunday morning brunch on June 14 at their home in St. Louis in honor of the newly married couples.
Kathleen graduated from Cor Jesu Academy in St. Louis and is a graduate of Rice University in Houston, receiving a bachelor of architecture degree. She works at Etegra Inc. in Olivette, Missouri.
Robert graduated from Jackson High School and is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, receiving a bachelor of science degree in mass communications. He works for the Missouri Department of Labor in the Employment Security Division in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple lives in St. Louis.
