St. Vincent de Paul Church was the setting April 28, 2007, for the wedding of Cecilia Marie Kuntz and Andrew Albert Colburn. The Rev. David Hulshof performed the ceremony. Reader was Caryn Larson of Genoa City, Wis., sister of the groom.
Parents of the couple are Edwin and Gabriela Kuntz of Cape Girardeau, and Scott and Kathleen Colburn of Spring Grove, Ill.
Maid of honor was Gina Kuntz of Columbia, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Casey Patterson of St. Louis, Suzie Geller of New City, N.Y., and Danielle Smith of Austin, Texas.
Brian LaLonde of Chicago was best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Miller of St. Augustine, Fla., Matt Colburn of DeKalb, Ill., and Sam Colburn of Lincoln, Ill., brothers of the groom. Ushers were Chris Kuntz of Paducah, Ky., and Greg Kuntz of St. Louis, brothers of the bride; Ted Sisko of New York, N.Y.; and Jon Chappell of Peoria, Ill.
Flower girl was Abby Kuntz, daughter of Chris and Deena Kuntz and niece of the bride.
A dinner and dance reception was held at Southeast Missouri State University Center Ballroom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 27 at Bella Italia.
Mrs. Colburn is a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an engineer at Procter and Gamble in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a graduate of Richmond-Burton High School in Richmond, Ill. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois and a master of science in paper technology from the Institute of Paper Science and Technology at Georgia Tech. He is an engineer at Procter and Gamble.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
