ORAN, Mo. -- Christy Elizabeth Kluesner and Barry Duane Ziegler were married Aug. 27, 2005, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Organist was Dana Lynch of Oran. Vocalists were Teresa Lieb of St. Louis and Chris Scherer of Oran.

The bride is the daughter of Pete and Kim Kluesner of Oran. The groom is the son of Randy Ziegler of Benton, Mo., and Mike and Pam Jett of Sikeston, Mo.

Maid of honor was Amy Kern of Chaffee, Mo. Bridesmaids were Heather Blue of Odin, Ill., cousin of the bride; Dana Essner of Benton; Amanda O'Brien of Scott City; Ashley Kern and Monica Senciboy of Benton, and Allison Johnson of Chaffee.

Travis Braun of Benton was best man. Groomsmen were Lee Ziegler of Sikeston, brother of the groom; Tyler Schlosser and Michael Riley of Benton; Michael Romas of Sikeston, Kyle Keopp of Benton, and Michael Roslen of Sikeston. Ushers were Scot Kluesner, brother of the bride, Dustin Leggett, cousin of the bride, both of Chaffee; Michael Proctor of Benton; and Clayton Scherer of Oran, cousin of the bride.

Candlelighter was Monica Scherer of Oran, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Victoria Blue of Chaffee, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Samuel Jett of Sikeston, brother of the groom.

Program attendants were Bethany and Katie Blue of Odin, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at Oran Knights of Columbus Hall.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 26 at Guardian Angel School.

Mrs. Ziegler is a 2003 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a secretary at Kluesner Electric.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Kelly High school. He is employed at Do It Best Corp. in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Scott City.
