Kiefer - Miesner

FROHNA, Mo. -- Shannon Marie Kiefer and Stanley Richard Miesner were married Sept. 7, 2013, at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo. The Rev. Roger Abernathy performed the ceremony. Robyn Koenig of Farrar was organist and pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Ray H. and Kimberly M. Kiefer of Perryville, Mo. The groom is the son of Richard R. and Sandra M. Miesner of Frohna, Mo.

Maid of honor was Brittany Stueve of Perryville. Matron of honor was Rachael Neislein of Perryville, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Aleshia Reiss and Anna Besand of Perryville and Rachel Galeski of St. Charles, Mo., cousins of the bride; Kyla Huber of Jackson; Julia Miesner, cousin-in-law of the groom, and Bethany Miesner, cousin of the groom, both of Frohna.

Best men were Steven Miesner of Perryville, brother of the groom, and Derek Miesner of Frohna, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Kurt Kiefer, brother of the bride; Raymond Mattingly, cousin of the groom; Michael Chitwood, Mark Kasten and Cary Vernon, all of Perryville; and Matthew Lohmann of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Colby Jones of Perryville, cousin of the groom, and Patrick Lohmann of Farrar.

Flower girl was Vivian Kiefer, daughter of Dewayne and Jennifer Kiefer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Case Miesner, son of Steven and Jessica Miesner and nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Perryville.

The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 6 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Mrs. Miesner is a 2008 graduate of Perryville High School. She received an associate of arts degree in business administration from Mineral Area College in 2010, and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is employed at the Bank of Missouri in Perryville.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed at Altenburg Hardwood Lumber Co., and by Miesner Farm LLC.

After a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Frohna.
