Kidd - Mier

Jessica Jane Kidd and Kevin Christopher Mier were married Aug. 16, 2014, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri. The Rev. Randolph Tochtrop performed the ceremony. Organist was Mary Jansen, and vocalists were Caitlin Landewee, Whitney Lukefahr and Emily Seiler, all of Leopold, Missouri.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Jane Kidd of Delta. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Brown of Millersville and Chris Mier of Scott City.

Matron of honor was Rebecca Uthe of Princeville, Illinois, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Green of Sikeston, Missouri, cousin of the bride; Emily Polen of Cape Girardeau; Susannah Green of Whitewater; Niki Laubach of Scott City and Julie Heisserer of Kelso, Missouri, both sisters of the groom.

Jonathan Long of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Nick Schwartz of Kelso; Wyatt Kidd of Delta, brother of the bride; Cody Blattel of Delta, cousin of the bride; Jeff Laubach of Scott City and Jamey Heisserer of Kelso, brothers-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Seth Blattel of Delta, cousin of the bride; Nathan Litchfield of Jackson, and Christopher McKee of Thebes, Illinois.

Flower girl was Arwen Laubach of Scott City, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Kolin Heisserer of Kelso, nephew of the groom.

The reception was held at St. Joseph Knights of Columbus Hall in Advance, Missouri.

The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 15 at the Jaycee Hall in Oran.

Jessica received a master's degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. She is a speech-language pathologist with North St. Francois County School District in Desloge, Missouri.

Kevin received a bachelor's degree in historic preservation from Southeast in 2011. He is a sales representative for Frito-Lay in Cape Girardeau.
