Leah Kennard and Lt. Craig Prost were married Oct. 23, 2004, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Charlie Prost performed the ceremony. Music was by Pat Verne, and soloist was Nina Prost, sister of the groom. Scriptures were read by Rachel McCoy and Michelle Prost, sister-in-law of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Chris Kennard of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Joe Prost of Cape Girardeau and Jeannine Prost of Kirkwood, Mo.

Maid of honor was Louisea Raines, stepsister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Tara Kennard, sister-in-law of the bride; Tara Palmer, Julie Casey and Kari Rainey.

Chuck Prost, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Glaus, Chris Talley, and Greg and Matt Kennard, brothers of the bride.

Candlelighters were Shannon Hagan and Kim Bader. Gifts were presented by Mike and Cathy Coad, uncle and aunt of the bride, and D'Anne Weber, aunt of the groom.

Bethany Raines, stepsister of the groom, attended the guest book and handed out programs.

The reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Celebrations.

Mrs. Prost is employed with the University of Memphis Alumni Association.

The groom is serving in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Millington, Tenn.

The couple is residing in Memphis, Tenn.
