Julie Susanne Kenkel and Eric Charles Schlosser exchanged vows Sept. 6, 2003, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel of Kelso. Vocalists were Doug Moore and Shanna Crozier of Scott City.

Parents of the couple are Elmer and Glenda Kenkel and Randy and Tina Schlosser, all of Scott City.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Kenkel, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Arica Eftink, both of Scott City. Bridesmaids were Ashley McElreath and Hannah Gandt of Cape Girardeau, and Rachel Palisch of Scott City.

The groom chose his brother, Adam Schlosser of Scott City, as best man. Groomsmen were Curtis Dannenmueller and Chad Schlosser, cousins of the groom; Todd Friend; and Dave Moore, cousin of the groom, all of Scott City. Ushers were Jeremy and Ryan Schlosser, cousins of the groom; Chris Mohney, brother-in-law of the bride, all of Scott City; and Chris Walker of Advance, Mo., cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Cody Schlosser, brother of the groom, and Amber Schlosser, cousin of the groom. Amber is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Schlosser of Scott City.

Flower girl was Alyssa Mohney, daughter of Chris and Michelle Mohney and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Alex Haight, son of Tim and Robin Haight of Manassas, Va., and cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Augustine gym. Servers were Kathy Schlosser, Connie McAnelly and Michelle Mohney.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 5 at the Ruma Center.

Mrs. Schlosser received an associate degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. She is an administrative assistant at Wood and Huston Bank in Cape Girardeau.

The groom received an associate degree from Jefferson College at Hillsboro, Mo., in 2003. He is employed by Appraisal Consultants Inc. in Scott City.

After a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the couple is residing in Benton, Mo.
