Kassel - Dority

Katie Jane Kassel and Jacob Andrew Dority were married Jan. 21 at The Estate at Baldy Ridge in Breckenridge, Colorado. Phil Gallagher performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Sandy Kassel of Jackson. The groom is the son of Rick and Katherine Dority of Sedalia, Missouri.

The flower girl was Ellowyn Kassel of St. Louis, niece of the bride.

The ring bearer was Theodore Kassel of St. Louis, nephew of the bride.

A reception was held in March at Port Cape Girardeau.

Katie is a 2006 graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School. She received a bachelor's degree in human environmental studies: dietetics in 2010 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a dietitian with Springfield Public School District 186 in Springfield, Illinois.

Jacob is a 2004 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He received a bachelor's degree in finance in 2009 from Missouri State University. He is a supervisor with Tower Loan.

The couple lives in Springfield, Illinois.
