Kaminskey - Essner

Cammie Gail Kaminskey and Trent James Essner exchanged wedding vows Sept. 20, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. The Rev. David Johnson performed the ceremony. Organist was Geri Beussink and soloist was Robyn Hosp, both of Jackson.

Doug and Gina Kaminskey of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Tammy and David VanGennip of Advance, Mo., and Terry and Shelly Essner of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Chelsea Kaminskey of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Trina Hindman of Festus, Mo., Mandy Phelps, Theresa Gray and Megan Hager, all of Jackson.

Scott Lang of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Essner, brother of the groom, and Brock Howard, both of Jackson, Josh Beussink and Tim Miller of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were David VanGennip II and Darren VanGennip of Advance, brothers of the groom.

Miniature bride and groom were Sierra Greaser, cousin of the groom, and Seth Essner, brother of the groom. Sierra is the daughter of Bryan and Nancy Greaser of Cape Girardeau. Seth is the son of Terry and Shelly Essner.

Candlelighters were Dana and Kaci Wright of Jackson, cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Anna Ziegler and Brooklyn Greaser, cousins of the groom. Ringbearer was Bryson Walker, cousin of the bride. Anna is the daughter of Rick Ziegler of Jackson. Brooklyn is the daughter of Bryan and Nancy Greaser. Bryson is the son of Tim and Cara Walker of Dallas, N.C.

Ashley Lane of St. Louis and Heather Kirby of Jackson were guest book attendants. Program attendants were Savannah Curl and Allison Ziegler of Jackson.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Dee Curl, Faye Myer, Cara Walker and Pam Wright.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 19 at the Waters Edge in Gordonville.

Mrs. Essner is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is employed at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Southeast in 2008.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Jackson.
