Lauren Kay Jones and Jeffrey James Maurer were married July 9, 2006, in the Barrel Room at the Villagio in Napa Valley, Calif. Dr. Bruce Tankersley of Marshall, Texas, performed the ceremony. Music was provided by the Lawrence String Quartet of San Francisco, Calif.
The bride is the daughter of Janet M. Jones of Marshall, and the late Dr. Roger K. Jones. The groom is the son of Jim and Teresa R. Maurer of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Alexis Csaczar of Marshall, niece of the bride. Bridesmaids were Hollis Jones-Pinczehelyi of New York City, sister of the bride; Melissa McGuire of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Meredith Jones of Marshall, sister of the bride; and Lori Miller of St. Louis, sister of the groom.
Jeffrey Hutz of Indianapolis, Ind., was best man. Groomsmen were Rennold Wacht of New York City, son of the bride; Dr. Nathan McGuire of Cape Girardeau and J.Y. Miller of St. Louis, brothers-in-law of the groom; and Scott Rhodes of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Balint Pinczehelyi of New York City, brother-in-law of the bride, and Nathan Maurer of St. Louis, cousin of the groom.
The reception was held at the Grozinger Lawn and the Barrel Room at the Villagio.
The groom~s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 8 at Merryvale Vineyard in Napa Valley.
Mrs. Maurer received a bachelor of science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and master degrees in business administration from Columbia Business School in New York City and London Business School in England. She is a fashion model with Wilhelmina Models Inc. and with Gotham City Models, both in New York City.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and master degrees in business administration from Columbia and London business schools. He is employed by PAJCO Inc.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
