LEOPOLD, Mo. — Sonya Marie Jansen and Joshua Mark Glastetter were married May 3, 2008, in Leopold. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the ceremony. Organist was Alissa Vandeven of Leopold; pianist was Karen Kelley and violinist was Brittney Kelley, both of Sikeston, Mo. A choir sang and soloists were Shelly Holzum of Jackson and Bob and Jean Clubb of Leopold.
Parents of the couple are Norman and JoEllen Jansen of Leopold, and Daniel and Mary Glastetter of New Hamburg, Mo.
Matron of honor was Denise Broom of Sikeston, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Laura Booth of Caruthersville, Mo., and Janice Jansen of Leopold, sisters of the bride; Hanna Jansen of New Hamburg, cousin of the bride; Tara Landewee of Leopold; Leslee Ricketts of Nashville, Tenn.; and Elizabeth Glastetter of New Hamburg, sister-in-law of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Abigaile Broom, niece of the bride.
Best men were Jason and Jacob Glastetter of New Hamburg, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Brett Burger of Benton, Mo., John Hamm and Jon Heuring of New Hamburg, Derek Welter of Kelso, Mo., and Justin Simpher of Sikeston. Ushers were Chris Glastetter of Oxford, Miss., Matt Glastetter of Mobile, Ala., Nick Steimle of New Hamburg, cousins of the groom; and Richard Reeves of Benton.
Junior bride was Calli Nanney, niece of the bride.
The reception was held at St. Lawrence Parish Center.
The rehearsal dinner was held May 2 at the home of the bride's parents.
Mrs. Glastetter is employed at Orthopaedic Associates of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a supervisor at Noranda Aluminum Inc. in New Madrid, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Benton.
