Heidi Marie Jansen and David Allan Girard were married June 26, 2009, at the home of Ron and Marcia Clark of Jackson, uncle and aunt of the bride. Tim Winborne performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen Jansen of Jackson and Cheryl Jansen of Caruthersville, Mo. The groom is the son of the late Roy Girard and the late Loriane Kenny, both of Michigan.

Matron of honor was Marcia Clark.

Roy Girard of Grand Rapids, Mich., served his brother as best man. Usher was Dalton King of Alpena, Mich., son of the groom.

Candlelighter was Hailey King of Alpena, daughter of the groom.

Laura Hoppe of Grand Rapids, Mich., niece of the groom, attended the guest book.

Three reception dinners were hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Chester McCain of Jackson, grandparents of the bride; Richard and Robin Crowley of Old Appleton, Mo., uncle and aunt of the bride; and Mike and Amy Girard of Hubbard Lake, Mich., brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

Cake server after the ceremony was Suzanne Hoppe of Grand Rapids, sister of the groom.

The bride's father hosted the rehearsal dinner June 25 at Texas Roadhouse in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Girard is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2006 graduate of Metro Business College. She is a gaming operator.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Alpena High School, and attended Alpena Community College. He is employed in construction.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple is residing in Columbia, Tenn.
