MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Tasha Dawn James and Michael Joseph Chorba II were married July 23, 2011, at Cottage of Grace General Baptist Church. Bill McCormick performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Jeanie James of Marble Hill. The groom is the son of Mike and Diane Chorba Sr. of Marble Hill.
Matron of honor was Christy Upchurch of Marble Hill, twin sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lee Ann and Sara Chorba of Marble Hill, sisters of the groom.
Jon Brasel of Poplar Grove, Ill., was best man. Groomsmen were Tim Upchurch, brother-in-law of the bride, and Emmett Chorba, brother of the groom, both of Marble Hill. Ushers were David Stevens, brother of the bride, and James Teal, both of Marble Hill.
Flower girl was Evelyn Butler, daughter of Amanda Butler of Crystal Lake, Ill., and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Nolan Kirkeeng, son of Carrie Lewis and Kevin Kirkeeng of Crystal Lake, cousin of the groom.
A dinner was held at First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Marble Hill.
The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 22 at Cottage of Grace Church.
Mrs. Chorba received a bachelor of arts degree in human resources management at Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is employed at International Companies in Fenton, Mo.
The groom received an associate degree in occupational studies from L'Ecole Culinaire in May. He is employed at the Country Club of St. Albans in St. Albans, Mo.
The couple is residing in Maplewood, Mo.
