Samantha Jo Jaco and Scott Andrew Lang were married Aug. 23, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. The Revs. John Harth and Randy Tochtrop performed the ceremony. Pianist was Geri Beussink and vocalist was Jane Oehl, both of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Richard "Dick" Jaco of Whitewater, and the late JoAnn Jaco. Roger and Lisa Lang of Jackson are parents of the groom.
Maid of honor was Olivia Jaco of Jackson, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Jenny Waldron of Pfluggerville, Texas. Bridesmaids were Morgan Wessel and Olivia Meyer of Jackson, Markelle Graham of Overland Park, Kansas, and Trina Hindman of Jackson, sister of the groom.
The groom chose his brother, Matt Lang of Jackson, as best man. Groomsmen were Trent Essner, Brock Howard, Mike Matthews, Cole Humphrey, and Jake Hindman, brother-in-law of the groom, all of Jackson. Ushers were Nick Fiehler of Dallas, Texas, Dustin Fluegge, Phillip Wichern and Matt Neal, all of Jackson.
Flower girls were Hailey and Lacey Hindman, daughters of Jake and Trina Hindman and nieces of the groom.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle.
Samantha is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She is employed at Red Letter Communications.
Scott is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture business from Southeast in 2007. He is employed by Byron Lang Inc.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Jackson.
