THEBES, Ill. -- Victoria Lee Jackson and Shane Allen Matlock exchanged vows Oct. 13, 2001, at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. Pianist was Shane Steck of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Staci Matlock of Thebes.
Stephen and Terri Jackson of Thebes are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Roberta Matlock of McClure, Ill.
Matron of honor was Kristine Keeven of O'Fallon, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Maria Swan and Marla Ashby of Cape Girardeau, Amy Risenhoover of Columbia, Mo., and Staci Matlock.
Clay Matlock of Thebes, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Barks; Clint Matlock, cousin of the groom; Brad Isaac and Eric Ticer, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Josh Lumsden of Cape Girardeau and Andrew Chandler of McClure, nephew of the groom.
Flower girl was Madelynne Eudy, daughter of Meredith Eudy of Cape Girardeau. Ringbearer was Mathew Chandler, son of Kelley Chandler of McClure and nephew of the groom.
Mindi Stearns attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Shanna Kelley and Rachael Schlosser.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 12 at Drury Lodge.
Mrs. Matlock received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Bank of America in Cape Girardeau.
The groom received an associate's degree from Shawnee Community College. He is employed at Delta Companies in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in McClure.
