Ashley Illers and T.J. Humphrey were married March 1, 2008, at West Hills Community Church in St. Louis. Gary Brooks and Brian Humphrey performed the ceremony. Scriptures were read by Erika Hann of St. Louis, cousin of the bride, and August Goodwin of Bedford, Texas.
Music was provided by Christy Shinn, Dale Rauh and Tim Winborne, all of Jackson, Sam Gregg of Atlanta, Ga., and Jeff Jehle of St. Louis.
Parents of the bride are Mack and Doris Illers of Jackson. The groom is the son of Mike and Mary Moyers of Jackson.
Matron of honor was Courtney Knowlan of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Susan Graft, sister of the bride, Deidre King, cousin of the bride, both of St. Louis; Amanda Dumey of Tulsa, Okla., Alex Smith of St. Louis, Dina Ballard and Tyne Shillingford of Chicago.
Brian Humphrey of St. Louis was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were August Goodwin of Bedford; Sam Gregg; Jordan Cox and Mark Green of St. Louis Tim Winborne; and Adam Bramlett of Jackson. Ushers were John Westhoff, Mike Graft, brother-in-law of the bride, both of St. Louis; and Taylor Blessing of Perryville, Mo., nephew of the bride.
Candlelighters were Eve Mason of Los Angeles, Calif., Kelley Kasten of Jackson, and Heather Brown of Chicago.
Flower girls were Miranda Graft, niece of the bride, and Cassie Joiner, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Caleb Joiner, cousin of the groom. Miranda is the daughter of Mike and Susan Graft. Cassie and Caleb are children of Mark and Karen Joiner.
Becky Moyers, stepsister of the groom, was guest book and program attendant.
The dinner and dance reception was held at Anheuser-Busch Conference Center in St. Louis.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Feb. 29 at CJ Muggs in Webster Groves, Mo.
Mrs. Humphrey is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance from Webster University in St. Louis in 2007, and expects to receive a master of fine arts in arts management and leadership from Webster in 2009. She is development assistant at Dance St. Louis.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in religion and religious education from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis in 2007, and is pursuing a master of ministry degree at Pillsbury Theological Seminary. He is employed by Jeff Hawkins Construction Co., and is a volunteer with various St. Louis ministries.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
