Christina Icaza and Jay Kaplan were married Oct. 11, 2008, at the Graham Cathedral in St. Louis. Bishop Fred Sansone performed the ceremony. Music was by the Rosewood Orchestra of the St. Louis Symphony. Soloist was Marlissa Hudson of St. Louis.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ramiro Icaza of Jackson. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kaplan of Presto, Pa.

Maid of honor was Leigh Anne Icaza and matron of honor was Jennifer Icaza-Gast, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Cova; Samara Kaplan, sister of the groom; Tawney Icaza, sister-in-law of the bride; Megan Ebers; Susan Stricklin; and Angela Bognanno.

Ross Linzer was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Baer; Patrick Icaza, brother of the bride; Josh Gast, brother-in-law of the bride; Brian Minning; Jeremy Mankowitz; Tom Ward, and Yoshi Kamihara. Ushers were Kelly and Cory McElrath, cousins of the bride.

Candlelighters were Kelly and Cory McElrath.

Flower girl was Olivia Icaza, daughter of Patrick and Tawney Icaza and niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Austin and Caleb Gast, sons of John and Jennifer Gast and nephews of the bride.

Amanda Martin of Jackson attended the guest book, and programs were handed out by Carrie McElrath of Jackson.

The reception was held at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in St. Louis, hosted by the bride's parents.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 10 at the Top of the Met in St. Louis.

Mrs. Kaplan is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a cardiovascular specialist with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan. He is regional vice president of AXA Equitable.

After a wedding trip to Tahiti, Australia, Moorea Island and Bedarra Island, the couple is residing in Dallas, Texas.
