SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Shannon Marie Hunter and Christopher Todd Graff were united in marriage Sept. 15, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid, Mo. The Rev. Mike Swalina performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Lydia Holton, cousin of the bride, and organist was Bob Donze of Sikeston.
The bride is the daughter of Hal E. Hunter III of New Madrid and Carole Hunter of Cape Canaveral, Fla. The groom is the son of the late John and Iris Graff of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Colleen Hunter, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Pamela O'Keefe. Bridesmaid was Julie Hunter, sister-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Cassie Hahs, daughter of Chrisie Hahs of Cape Girardeau.
Darin Rogers of Kelso, Mo., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Steve Rose of Cape Girardeau and Chance Hunter, brother of the bride. Ushers were Larry Martin and Rodney Buchanan of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighters were Jennifer Pennington and Julie Casey of St. Louis, nieces of the groom.
Flower girls were Carly Phillips and Lilly Johnson. Ringbearer was Austin Martin. Carly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Phillips III of New Madrid. Lilly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Johnson. Austin is the son of Larry Martin.
Natalie Hunter, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner was held at Rebecca Sharp's in New Madrid.
Mrs. Graff is a 1986 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education and design from the University of Mississippi in 1990, and an associate degree in design at Parsons School of Design in New York. She is a design consultant at Michael Tanner Furniture in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1987 graduate of Scott City High School. He is an electrician with Cotner Electric Co. in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Scott City.
