Hunter - lyon

Lindsay Devon Hunter and Benjamin Brockett Lyon were united in marriage June 13, 2009, at Unity Temple in Oak Park, Ill. The Rev. Alan Taylor performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Donna Hart Hunter and David Hunter of Lutz, Fla., and Karen and Mark Sammons of Orlando, Fla. The groom is the son of Ellen Sue Brockett and Brian Rogers of Whitewater, and Fred Lyon and Lynn Lyon of Winter Park, Fla.

The reception was held at the 19th Century Club in Oak Park.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Hotel Carleton in Oak Park.

Mrs. Lyon received a master of fine arts degree in writing from the Art Institute of Chicago. She is employed with NogginLabs Inc., an e-learning company in Chicago.

The groom is a law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is employed with Kaplan Higher Education of Chicago.

The couple resides in Chicago.
