Courtney Lynn Houston and Christopher Wayne Freeman exchanged vows June 15, 2007, at Living Lord Lutheran Church in Lake St. Louis, Mo. The Rev. Roy Christell performed the ceremony. Music was by Lexis Wilson of St. Charles, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie Houston of St. Charles and Roger and Melinda Houston of Lake St. Louis. The groom is the son of Virgil and Mary Freeman of Oak Ridge and George and Penny Bruhl of St. Peters, Mo.
Matron of honor was Mindy Dahl of Wentzville, Mo. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Castello of St. Peters, Shelley Smith of Chuckey, Tenn., cousin of the bride, and Jessica Peanick of Moscow Mills, Mo.
Kyle Houston of St. Charles, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Keith Houston of Sarasota, Fla., brother of the bride; Andrew and Justin Freeman of St. Peters, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Nicholas Culver and Blake Schaefer of Lake St. Louis, stepbrothers of the bride.
Flower girl was Paige Houston and Brinna Russell, cousins of the bride. Paige is the daughter of Stacy and Dan Larkins of Oakville, Mo. Brinna is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Russell of Shawnee, Kan. Ringbearers were Aiden Houston and Colton Smith, cousins of the bride. Aiden is the son of Kent and JoAnn Houston of St. Louis. Colton is the son of Jason and Shelley Smith.
The reception was held at Yacovelli's in Florissant, Mo.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 14 at Lake St. Louis Boat Club.
Mrs. Freeman received a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2006. She is a freshman English teacher at Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles.
The groom attended Jackson High School. He is employed by St. Louis Special Road District.
The couple is residing in O'Fallon, Mo.
