St. Paul Lutheran Church was the setting Sept. 10, 2005, for the wedding of Laura Emily Horst and Jason Michael Jones. The Rev. David Johnson performed the ceremony. Organist and pianist was Pat Palisch of Jackson, violinist was Michelle Suhr of Cape Girardeau, and vocalist was Adam Sherinski of St. Louis.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Horst and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jones, all of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Horst of Columbia, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Julie Wunderlich and Rachel Warren of Jackson, Sara Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., Line Kristiansen of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Jennifer Turman of Chicago, sister of the groom.
Jonathan Jones of Jackson was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Trent Miller of Columbia, Mo., Chris Freeman of Marshall, Mo., Jon Fink and Jon Luther of St. Louis, and Rich Turman of Chicago, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Rob Martin of St. Louis, Doug Gross of Minneapolis, Minn., Rodney Tuggle of Kansas City, Mo., and Steven Adams of St. Louis.
Candlelighters were Cara Campbell of St. Louis and Kaley Horst of Jackson, cousins of the bride.
Casey Brunke attended the guest book.
The reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Sue Wunderlich and Melanie Sherinski.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 9 at their home.
Mrs. Jones is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed at Procter & Gamble.
The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science in finance and real estate. He is employed by Missouri Great Dane.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Jackson.
