Julie Marena Horrell and Ryan Christopher Weatherspoon were married June 21, 2008, at Catholic Church of Ste. Genevieve in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Monsignor Dan Mosley performed the ceremony. Eucharistic minister was Debbie Gaines of Oran, Mo., aunt of the bride. Organist was Al Keiser and vocalist was Lynn Terry, both of Ste. Genevieve.
Reader was Diane Parker of Villa Ridge, Ill., godmother of the bride. Offertory bearers were Charles Hinkebein, godfather of the bride, and Glenda Hinkebein, and Larry and Melba Dees, godparents of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Frances Horrell of Ste. Genevieve, formerly of Chaffee, Mo. The groom is the son of Joyce Weatherspoon of Scott City.
Matrons of honor were Jodi Kutz and Jennifer Horrell, sister-in-law of the bride, both of Ste. Genevieve. Bridesmaids were Emily Weatherspoon of Scott City, sister of the groom; Elizabeth Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; Katie Bremer of St. Louis; Kim Armbruster of Villa Rica, Ga.; Amanda Klein of St. Louis; Kristy Mandrell of Belleville, Ill., and Sarah Gaines of Oran, both cousins of the bride.
Matt Miller of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Chad and Ethan Weatherspoon of Scott City, brothers of the groom; Andrew and Eric Horrell of Ste. Genevieve, brothers of the bride; Scott Johnston of Scott City, and Zac Wenneker of St. Louis. Ushers were Matt Underwood and David Enderle of Scott City.
Flower girl was Andrea Weatherspoon, daughter of Chad Weatherspoon and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Tucker Bertrand, son of David and Elizabeth Bertrand.
Heather Gresham of Cape Girardeau was guest book attendant and greeter.
A dinner and dance reception was held at the VFW Hall in Ste. Genevieve.
The rehearsal dinner was June 20 at the Microtel Banquet Room in Ste. Genevieve.
Mrs. Weatherspoon is a 2000 graduate of Valle High School in Ste. Genevieve. She received a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics and statistics in 2004, and a master's degree in business administration in 2006 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an estimating and pricing specialist with the Boeing Co. in St. Louis.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Scott City High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Southeast in 2003, and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a business and planning analyst with Boeing.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in St. Charles, Mo.
