Sara E. Hooper and L. Chris Snider exchanged wedding vows March 27, 2010, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. M. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel of Scott City. Vocalists were Bill LeGrand of Scott City, Abby and Megan Moore of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Hooper of Scott City and Robert Hooper of East Prairie, Mo. The groom is the son of Barbara Brownfield of Louisville, Ky., and the late John Brownfield.
Maid of honor was Tanya Mosley of Chesterfield, Mo. Bridesmaids were Lora and Jessica Duke of Elizabethton, Tenn., and Amanda Snider of Taylorsville, Ky., daughter of the groom.
Craig Cebe of Louisville was best man. Groomsmen were Rick Black of Greensburg, Ind., Tom Boyer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Drake Snider of Taylorsville, son of the groom. Ushers were Zachary Estes and Ryan Brock of Scott City, nephews of the bride.
Candlelighters were Abagail Estes and Alivia Collier of Scott City, nieces of the bride. Abagail is the daughter of Clint and Christine Estes. Alivia is the daughter of Allen and Becky Collier.
Flower girl was Alyssa Stone, daughter of Catrina Stone of Scott City and great-niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Ty and Bennett Collier and Samuel Estes of Scott City, nephews of the bride. Ty and Bennett are sons of Allen and Becky Collier. Samuel is the son of Clint and Christine Estes.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.
The rehearsal dinner was held March 26 at Ray's of Kelso.
Mrs. Snider is employed by Salem Tools Inc. of Salem, Va.
The groom is employed by Johnston Industrial in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is residing in Scott City.
