Kimberly Ann Hoffmeister and John Gordinier Winslow were married Sept. 14, 2002, at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kan. The Rev. Pam Morrison performed the ceremony. Readings were given by Brian Hoffmeister of Dallas, Texas, brother of the bride, and Bill Longston.
Parents of the couple are Bill and Julia Hoffmeister of Cape Girardeau, and Bill and Betsy Longston of Bellevue, Wash.
Matron of honor was Gwen Seyer of Jackson, sister of the bride.
Marcus Winslow, son of the groom, was best man.
Flower girls were Taylor Hoffmeister, niece of the bride, and Emily Bland, niece of the groom. Taylor is the daughter of Jeff and Kelly Hoffmeister of Swansea, Ill. Emily is the daughter of Mark and Beth Bland of Kansas City, Mo.
Paige Hoffmeister and Jordan Seyer were program and guest book attendants.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at EBT's in Kansas City.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the home of Mark and Beth Bland.
Mrs. Winslow attended Central High School, received a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a master's degree in business administration from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. She is a consultant with Black and Veatch in Overland Park, Kan.
The groom is an electrical engineering drafter at Preston Refrigeration in Kansas City, Kan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
The couple is residing in Overland Park.
