Hoffman-Albers

Laura Beth Hoffman and James Leroy Albers II were married Aug. 4, 2007, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dave Hulshof performed the ceremony. Servers were Logan Buchheit, cousin of the bride; Carson Bruenderman and Luke Mosherman.

Pianist was Lenny Kuper of Cape Girardeau, trumpeter was Andrew Szymanek of Chicago, cousin of the groom, and soloist was Dawn Szymanek of Chicago, aunt of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Ann Hoffman of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of James and Laura Albers of Wentzville, Mo.

Matrons of honor were Julie Casey of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Mullis of Hood River, Ore., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Marshall of Austin, Texas, Sonal Patel of Washington, D.C., Jenny Gaddis of Kansas City, Mo., Jane Kothe of St. Louis, sister of the groom, and Renee Benoist of Springfield, Mo.

Best men were Joe and Jeff Albers of St. Louis, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Hoffman of Springfield, brother of the bride; Nuru Allen of St. Louis, Bart Gaddis of Kansas City, Derek Redel and Mike Ori of St. Louis. Ushers were Chris Casey of Cape Girardeau and Brian Mullis of Hood River, brothers-in-law of the bride.

Candlelighters were Shanna Wilson and Julie Underwood of Cape Girardeau.

Ringbearers were Danny and Charlie Kothe, sons of Mark and Jane Kothe of St. Louis and nephews of the groom.

Guest book attendants were Rachel Buchheit, cousin of the bride, and Marsha Buchheit, aunt of the bride, both of Jackson.

The reception was held at Deerfield Lodge. Server was Logan Buchheit.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at Marquette Tower.

Mrs. Albers is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Missouri State University, and a master of science in clinical psychology from the university in 2005. She is a clinical therapist at Edgewood Children's Center.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Wentzville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from Missouri State in 2002. He is owner of St. Louis Consolidators.

After a wedding trip to St. Martin, the couple resides in Lake St. Louis, Mo.
