Hennecke-Poyner

Danielle Renee Hennecke and Gary Lynn Poyner Jr. were married July 29, 2006, at St. Mary's Cathedral. Mass celebrants were the Revs. Thomas Kiefer and William Hennecke, brother of the bride. Con-celebrants were the Revs. Patrick Nwokoye, Scott Sunnenberg, Randy Tochtrop and David Coon.

Lectors were Kate Schaefer, Gary Uthoff, uncle of the groom, and Melanie Peters, cousin of the bride. Giftbearers were Michael and Debbie Frank, godparents of the bride, and Bob Uthoff, godfather of the groom.

Servers were Barb Beel of Jackson, aunt of the bride; Jaymie Castens of Alton, Ill., cousin of the bride; Glenda Shankle of Bertrand, Mo., and Jana Uthoff of Sikeston, Mo., aunts of the groom.

Organist was Leann Hendrix, and vocalist was Alan Bruns.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann Hennecke and Bill and Gail Hennecke of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Judy Poyner of Scott City, and the late Gary Poyner Sr.

Matron of honor was Amy Blattel and maid of honor was Shannel Bueltemann, both of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Emma Tuthill of Anna, Ill., Olivia Hancock of St. Louis and Jonelle Hizer of Sullivan, Mo., cousins of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Molly Uthoff of Sikeston, cousin of the groom.

Randall White of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Bill Uthoff of St. Louis, uncle of the groom; Andy Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Tim Frank of Camp Lejuene, N.C., cousin of the bride; Ross Leigh of Owensboro, Ky., and Doug Poyner of East Prairie, Mo., cousins of the groom. Ushers were Michael Frank of Cape Girardeau, uncle of the bride, and Fred Uthoff of Sikeston, uncle of the groom.

Candlelighters were Shelley Frank of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Hannah Uthoff of Sikeston, cousin of the groom.

Flower girl was Hannah Byassee of East Prairie, cousin of the groom. Ringbearers were Christian Leigh, cousin of the groom, and Steven Margrabe, godson of the bride. Christian is the son of Ross and Jill Leigh. Steven is the son of Jodi Margrabe.

Sarah, Hannah and Laura Schaefer of Cape Girardeau were guest book and program attendants.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Bavarian Halle in Jackson.

The mothers of the bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner July 28 at Bavarian Halle.

Mrs. Poyner is a 1999 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, and a 2003 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Drury Southwest Inc.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Scott City High School, and a 2003 graduate of Southeast. He is employed at Delta High School.

After a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
