Elizabeth Haynes and Mahender Nathan were married Dec. 31, 2003, at the Christian Association Chapel at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Haynes of Cape Girardeau, and the late Michael Haynes. The groom is the son of Dr. Swami and Dr. Girija Nathan of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Maid of honor was Lynlee Muehring of Chicago.

Best man was William Walton of Los Angeles, Calif.

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom hosted a dinner at Savona Restaurant in Gulph Mills, Pa.

Mrs. Nathan is a graduate of Harvard University.

The groom is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.

A wedding trip to Egypt is planned this spring.

The couple is residing in Philadelphia.
