Hartmann - Bachkora

Molly Kathleen Hartmann and Christopher Joseph Bachkora were united in marriage Sept. 4, 2010, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park, Kan. Monsignor Ed Eftink and the Rev. Richard Storey performed the ceremony. Accompanist was Maureen Henderson of Overland Park. Soloists were Denise Slavin of Overland Park, and Robert Hartmann of St. Louis, uncle of the bride.

Lectors were Anne Zivnuska, aunt of the bride; Rocky Heinrich, uncle of the groom; and Maureen Hughes. Servers were Sarah Schaffer, cousin of the groom, and Kelly Sweeney.

The bride is the daughter of Rich and Kathleen Hartmann of Jackson. The groom is the son of Charles and Patricia Bachkora of Olathe, Kan.

Maid of honor was Erin Hartmann of Memphis, Tenn., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alycia Bachkora of Olathe, sister of the groom; Lucy Hartmann of Jackson, sister of the bride; Jessica Bachkora of Olathe, sister of the groom; Caroline Sweeney of Overland Park, Allison Sole of St. Louis, and Lauren Olsen of Houston, Texas.

Patrick Kies of Olathe was best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Bachkora of Kansas City, Mo., and Greg Bachkora of Atchison, Kan., cousins of the groom; Johnny Sweeney of Overland Park, Joe Gaterman, Bill Musselman and John Bridges, all of St. Louis.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Foundation Architectural Reclamation in Kansas City.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 3 at the church.

Mrs. Bachkora is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in middle school education with science certification from St. Louis University in 2009. She is employed at Xavier Elementary School in Leavenworth, Kan.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Rockhurst High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in business and marketing from St. Louis University in 2006. He is a sales representative with Regency in Kansas City.

The couple is residing in Platte City, Mo.
