Marlena Danielle Hale and Justin Thomas Sadler were married May 10, 2008, at the Water's Edge in Gordonville. Mike Sowers performed the ceremony. Music was by Alisha Curtis of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Connie Ridings and Dennis and Linda Hale, all of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Ed and Tanya Sadler of Chaffee, Mo., and Jim and Anita Coleyote of Ironton, Mo.
Maid of honor was Tanya La Bruyere and matron of honor was Melanie Robinette, both of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Kayla Scheurer of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Arnold of Bell City, Mo.
Kenny Karrenbrock of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Van Pelt of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Charlie Maca of Gordonville, and Matt McBride of Bell City.
Flower girl was Jayda Sadler, daughter of the bride and groom. Ringbearer was Kaleb La Bruyere, son of Tanya La Bruyere and nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Water's Edge.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner May 9 at the Water's Edge.
The groom is employed at Hutson's Fine Furniture.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
