Kimberly Haertling and Allen Pooker were married July 14, 2007, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells. The Rev. Rick Patzwitz performed the ceremony. Organist was Orville Perr Jr. of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Ruth Haertling of Altenburg, Mo., and the late Harlen Haertling. The groom is the son of Mildred Pooker of Jackson, and the late Chester Pooker.
The bride was presented in marriage by her nephew, Kyle Haertling of Altenburg.
Matron of honor was Tammy Kasten of Uniontown, Mo. Bridesmaids were Reva and Jenny Eichhorn of Altenburg, sister and niece of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Courtney Haertling of Altenburg, niece of the bride.
Dale Pooker of Kearney, Mo., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Mark Haertling, brother of the bride, and Nathan Redecker, nephew of the groom, both of Altenburg.
Candlelighters were Jenny Eichhorn and Kyle Haertling.
Erin Steffens, goddaughter of the bride, attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Cathy Haertling, sister-in-law of the bride; Cindy Redecker, sister of the groom; and Bonnie Pooker, sister-in-law of the groom.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner July 13 at her home.
Mrs. Pooker is a graduate of Jackson High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Dr. Louis Kouo in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a graduate of Hillsboro High School, and Linn State Technical College. He is employed at Altenburg Hardwood.
The couple resides in New Wells.
