Renee Tiffany Grojean and David Allen Yarnell exchanged wedding vows Oct. 14, 2006, at Deerfield Lodge. The Rev. Gary Brothers performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Neal Boyd of St. Louis.
The bride is the daughter of Ron Grojean of Cape Girardeau and Faye Powell of Maumelle, Ark. The groom is the son of John and Kimmie Meinershagen of Versailles, Mo.
Maid of honor was Melanie Acklin of Kansas City, Mo., and matron of honor was Dawn Hunt of Sikeston, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jennifer McCoy of Jackson, Bethany Miller of Kansas City, and Laura McClung of Sikeston.
Mark Paschel of Osceola, Iowa, was best man. Groomsmen were John Meinershagen, stepfather of the groom; Rusty Lumley of Fair Grove, Mo., Clint Jackson of Mansfield, Mo., and Neal Boyd. Ushers were Joe Grojean of Maumelle, Matt Grojean of Nixa, Mo., and Chris Grojean of Omaha, Neb., brothers of the bride.
Flower girls were Maya and Alexis Grojean, nieces of the bride, and ringbearer was Blake Grojean, nephew of the bride. Maya and Blake are children of Joe and Heather Grojean. Alexis is the daughter of Matt Grojean.
Jill Yarnell, sister of the groom, and Heather Tomco attended the guest book.
The reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 13 at Dexter Bar-B-Que in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Yarnell is a 1998 graduate of Sikeston High School, 2002 graduate of Columbia College, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She is assistant prosecuting attorney in Greene County, Mo.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Versailles High School, and a 2001 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is an outside sales representative with MFA Inc., and is owner of Rafter Y Bucking Bulls.
The couple resides in Springfield, Mo.
