BENTON, Mo. -- Lauren Michelle Grimes and Douglas Gerard Felter exchanged vows Oct. 6, 2007, at Perritte Memorial United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. The Rev. Steve Scott performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Perry and Kim Grimes of Nacogdoches, and Sam and Jolene Felter of Benton.

Maid of honor was Audrey Wesseling of Corpus Christi, Texas. Bridesmaids were Michelle Chandler and Tammy Lee of Nacogdoches.

Paul Hodgen of Abingdon, Ill., was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Thompson of Russellville, Mo., and Curtis Sievers of Jackson. Ushers were Zac Hall of Berthold, N.D., Vernon Florke of Lodgepole, Neb., and Levi Grimes of Nacogdoches, brother of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Amanda Gehman of Lincoln, Neb., and Laura Felter of Benton, sister of the groom.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 5 at Clear Springs Restaurant in Nacogdoches.

Mrs. Felter received a bachelor's degree in animal science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2005. She received a master's degree in meat science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2007.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in agricultural systems management from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2003. He received a master's degree in agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005. He is a marketing representative with John Deere Seeding Group in Moline, Ill.

After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Davenport, Iowa.
